Based in Blaine, Washington State, AMS Print has been in business for more than 30 years. What started as a small mailbox, shipping and receiving company has since expanded to print, to better serve its customers. The company provides expertise in mail creation and injection, helping individuals and businesses to get their message out on time and on budget.
By investing in the world’s premier technologies for printing and mailing services and the hiring of key employees, today AMS Print is the region’s leading digital printer, mailer, and commercial label producer. The company produces thousands of pieces of printed material each day – from labels, brochures, posters and mailings.
The problem
Infigo was recommended to AMS Print by our partners at HP Indigo, as the company was already using the HP Indigo Digital press. While HP’s Indigo range is able to handle a high volume of variable printing jobs, and AMS was using HP’s Siteflow to automate large parts of the workflow, AMS needed to find a way of increasing the number of orders received.
Which is where Infigo came in. By integrating the Infigo platform, with AMS HP Indigo hardware, and HP’s Siteflow platform, not only were AMS able to take orders from anywhere in the world, at any time of day or night, but also sync all job data to a number of systems.
Phillip Flores, Label Department Production Manager for AMS Print, explained that this was the organisation’s first foray into web-to-print. He said: “The HP Indigo team highly recommended Infigo and we weren’t disappointed. The support we received was top level, particularly from Duncan Rouart, Senior Customer Support Analyst for Infigo. He was a major contributor to our success
