In July, we announced that we were leading a ground-breaking new project within the Dscoop global community, aimed at promoting mental health and wellness support to business leaders in the print industry.
The initiative, led by four passionate Dscoopers, from diverse industry backgrounds: Infigo Head of Global Marketing, Chris Minn, GPA (Fedrigoni Group) Director of Marketing Communications & e-Commerce, Jessica DeCola, MindFire Inc. Co-founder & President, David Rosendahl, and Precision Proco CEO, Jon Bailey, share a collective vision to create a community that prioritizes mental health and wellness, whilst providing a safe space for open discussions and support.
After the roaring success of our opening session with initiative co-founders and partners, and overwhelmingly positive feedback from its participants, the new group, affectionally named ‘She*et for Brains’, has now launched and we are thrilled to announce that the first ‘all-access’ webinar, ‘She*t for Brains Strategy Session, Chapter 1—Resilience with Glenn Packiam‘ will be taking place on Thursday 29th August, at 12.00pm EST (05.00pm BST) and you can save your seat now.
During the session, we will welcome Glenn Packiam, bestselling author and speaker, who focuses on resilience in leadership and work-life balance. He will share his personal experience and insights on mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Packiam is an engaging and dynamic speaker who has captivated audiences around the world. His ability to connect with audiences, share practical insights, and inspire positive change has made him a sought-after speaker and one the group is sure will make an impact, so we are delighted to have him onboard for the inaugural She*t for Brains webinar.
Strongly supported by Dscoop, and its dedicated global community, the group plans to carry the momentum and efforts into a physical space at EDGE Long Beach in May 2025, with in-person sessions, a wellness event, and a booth space hosting a ‘Wellness Oasis’, that will highlight and elevate interactions and collaborations.
Peter Van Teesling, Executive Director for Dscoop said on the initiative: “Within Dscoop, where personal well-being is as important as professional success, we appreciate meaningful connections where we can inspire each other. The strong sense of community will grow even more with this member-led initiative that empowers our members.”
Grounded in genuine connection and an understanding of the need for a community that embraces vulnerability and an openness to address otherwise stigmatized personal and professional challenges, She*t for Brains aims to cultivate an inclusive platform that digs deep into the corners of transformative collaboration.”
So, if you’re ready to unlock the secrets of resilience in both your personal and professional life, join us on Thursday 29th August, at 12.00pm EST (05.00pm BST), for an exclusive webinar that promises to challenge your perceptions and transform your approach to wellness and success.
