Infigo to Showcase advanced Connect: CERM integration at CERM User Group Europe 2024
Taking place in Paris, France, on February 27-28th, 2024, at the HYATT Place Paris, Charles de Gaulle Airport, Infigo CEO & Founder, Douglas Gibson, joined by Technical Operations Director, Alex Bowell will demonstrate the Connect: CERM integration, through our award-winning labels presentation, which recently took home the PRINTING United Alliance Digital Packaging Summit Award for Best Showcase Presentation.

Alex said: “We identified that the label sector was a growth market but also realised that it was a market that had different challenges and buying behaviour to other print verticals.
“We knew that the only way that we could deliver a solution successfully was by partnering up. So we looked at a few of the leaders in labels MIS but to be honest, there was one standout and that was CERM.
“They invited us to their User Group Americas event last year, which enabled us to pitch our ideas and have them validated directly with their customers.
“We told them what our plans were and then we had discussions with them afterwards, workshops with them afterwards, and they fed back. And they’ve helped shape this today along with three or four beta customers that have helped us to develop this solution.
“This isn’t our work. We’ve developed it but it’s not all on us. It’s our partners CERM, it’s their customers, it’s our customers, and that’s how we’ve managed to get to where we are today.”
Integration creating industry buzz
The Connect: CERM integration is already building substantial buzz in the labels and packaging industry, with Infigo taking home the PRINTING United Alliance Digital Packaging Summit Award for Best Showcase Presentation, in November 2023.
Douglas said: “I’m always happy to spend my time telling everyone how great the Infigo platform is. However, it certainly makes it a lot easier when that is recognised by the leaders in the industry. You don’t need to have a degree in economics to know that it’s been a highly challenging environment over the last few years.
“However, shopping habits, regardless of the industry, have changed significantly. Those in the labels and packaging industry that are able to adapt through e-commerce, integration and automation will be the ones that survive, if not thrive, over the next few years.”
