Let the paddles do the talking at this year’s TLMI Annual Meeting, Orlando, during the printTHINK Pickleball tournament 2024
In a spirited blend of networking and friendly competitiveness, Infigo are delighted to be one of the sponsors for the printTHINK pickleball tournament at the TLMI Annual Meeting in Florida this year.
Held in memory of much missed TLMI member Tracy Tennpenny, this hugely popular event will provide an exhilarating break for both experienced players and those that want to give the sport a try for the first time.
With the TMLI Annual Meeting spanning the 29th of September to the 2nd of October at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes, Orlando, the tournament is set to take place on the afternoon of Tuesday, 1st of October.
Pickleball beginners welcome
The tournament, which will surely be a highlight for the TLMI community, will see participants competing in two categories: experienced players and novices – with an introductory coaching session provided to those new to the sport.
With nearly all spots for participants already filled, the tournament promises to be a lively and well-attended event. The winners will be announced at the evening awards dinner that evening (Tuesday, October 1st.)
Camaraderie in the labels sector
Infigo Managing Director, Alex Bowell, who will be in attendance at the event, said: “Infigo really have been embraced by the labels community over the last couple of years, and it’s been a pleasure to really immerse myself in the industry, working alongside some of the biggest names in the sector to provide a solution that gives label converters ultimate workflow flexibility.
“But while the camaraderie in the sector has struck me, I know that we all love a bit of friendly competition, and no one likes to be beaten. So, it’s great to get behind this year’s Pickleball Tournament, which I have no doubt will be a lively event.
“I already know that some of our partners have been putting some practice in on the court, so the competition will be fierce, if not friendly!
“However, it is also obviously a great privilege to honour the memory of Tracy Tennpenney, who I know is a much-missed member of this wonderful community.”
Recognising the best of TMLI
TLMI’s Annual Meeting is the Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute’s largest event of the year. Session content is curated to appeal business leaders, finance, operations, human resources, and more. With a focus on everything from automated workflows to sustainability, learning sessions and award celebrations are balanced with activities and free time for networking.
As well as celebrating the victorious winner of the Pickleball tournament, the TLMI awards also celebrate the membership’s achievements each year with several different awards highlighting excellence in management, sustainability, print, and individual industry leadership.
