Infigo debuts pioneering partnership with Markzware at PRINTING United Expo 2024
We are set to significantly reduce the expense and stress of the design and PDF creation process, thanks to our latest partnership with file conversion innovators Markzware.
The collaboration, which we can’t wait to demonstrate on Infigo Booth: C201 at PRINTING United Expo this year in Las Vegas, enables Infigo users to integrate the incredibly popular and user-friendly design tool Canva into their storefront.
This not only gives customers a greater design experience than ever before but also massively reduces overall costs while speeding up the creation workflow.
The partnership enables users to create products through Canva, export them into a PDF, to which Markzware then converts into an editable InDesign file, allowing the products to then pass through to the Infigo platform via our existing Invent integration.
Reduce PDF creation and transfer time by 80%
While this has been possible for Adobe InDesign users with our Connect: Invent plugin, which has reduced the time it takes to create and transfer a PDF file by up to 80%, we recognise that Canva is fast becoming the go-to design tool for many industries and organisations.
As a result, we recognised the increased demand for a tool that would enable users to design in Canva and then transfer the PDF to Infigo.
However, the collaboration will also mean that PDF files created in any design platform, can be imported into the Infigo platform.
So we are extremely excited that David Dilling, Managing Director for Markzware Europe and Patrick Marchese, President and CEO of Markzware, will be co-located with us at Infigo Booth: C201 of the Las Vegas Convention Center, to demonstrate the numerous benefits of the partnership and exactly how it works.
Canva now the “go-to” design tool
Chris Minn, Head of Global Marketing for Infigo, said: “At Infigo we have always aimed to create a platform that can be integrated with practically any tool and system that a printer (and their customers) might use in the design and production process.
“Obviously Canva has become the go-to design tool in recent years – in just two years (between 2022 and 2024) users have increased from 60 million in 2022 to 130 million, which is staggering growth.
“Seeing the success that we have had with Connect: Invent – our module that enables Adobe users to create and import pdfs into the Infigo platform in 1/5 of the time that it used to take – so it was a no-brainer to look at creating a similar tool for Canva, and Markzware were the perfect partners to help us achieve this.”
Unparalleled design capabilities
David Dilling, Managing Director of Markzware Europe, said: “We couldn’t be more excited to be joining Infigo at PRINTING United Expo to show off the incredible possibilities of this partnership. This will give users, who have limited design experience, unparalleled design capabilities and flexibility.
“In short you can create and transfer a fully editable Canva design with all layers, fonts, colors, images, you name it. It’s an incredibly powerful tool, and we can’t wait to demonstrate how this would be a transformative addition to any printer’s tech stack.”
