Infigo has bolstered its reputation as a trusted web-to-print provider by partnering with the highly respected Tag and Labels Manufacturing Institute (TLMI)
First formed in 1933, the highly respected trade body is dedicated to driving growth and innovation in the label and packaging industry.
Announcing the partnership at LabelExpo Americas 2022, Douglas Gibson, CEO of Infigo, said the web-to-print software provider was hugely excited about sharing its expertise with fellow TLMI members.
He said: “What makes this such an honour is that new members are voted on by the TLMI Board of Directors – it’s not a community that accepts just any provider in the sector.
“So, we were delighted to be seen as an organisation that’s passionate and innovative. It really does feel like a seal of approval from those that matter most in the industry.”
With demand for labelling being driven by a number of factors, printers and converters are struggling to keep up with demand.
Douglas said: “Converters and labellers that can take orders online, and automate large parts of the workflow are those that will benefit most from the growing demand for tags and labelling. E-commerce really is the future of the industry.
“As well as teaching fellow members about the automation possibilities of web-to-print we are also excited about sharing strategies that have seen our clients launch successful new revenue streams. In short, we are extremely well placed to help more tag and label manufacturers capitalise on industry growth.”
Dale Coates, Engagement Director at TLMI, said: “We are delighted to welcome a web-to-print provider such as Infigo to the organisation. Technical solution providers like Infigo further support our members to grow online.”
With TLMI committees dedicated to everything from government and regulatory affairs, to marketing, sustainability, and technical and workforce development, Douglas believes that Infigo will be able to use its membership as a force for good.
He says: “We have always prided ourselves on having a two-way dialogue with members of the print industry – every innovation, integration and module we’ve developed is a result of feedback from converter and labelling clients.”
“Not only will TLMI membership allow us to gather wider marketing intelligence, we’ll also be able to use that insight to help our clients improve and innovate.
“We can’t wait to meet with our fellow members (both online and in-person) to network, educate and learn and have already got several events booked in.”
