We’re set to launch our Connect: CERM integration, which has already taken the European labels market by storm, globally, at this years Labelexpo Americas, Chicago
Following on from an incredibly successful European launch at Labelexpo Europe, Brussels, last year, Infigo will this time be demonstrating it’s trailblazing integration at Booth: 5420, Labelexpo Americas 2024.
During the event, held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Chicago, between 10-12th September, a range of web-to-label experts, spearheaded by newly appointed Infigo Managing Director, Alex Bowell, and backed by CEO & Founder, Douglas Gibson, will be on hand to show label converters how web-to-label technology could revolutionise their revenue streams.
Built for the labels sector “from the ground up”
The integration brings together Infigo’s e-commerce and personalisation prowess with CERM’s estimating, workflow and job management expertise, to provide a complete package for label converters. Alex said that the solution had been built specifically for the labels industry by labels experts, from the ground up.
He said: “We identified that the label sector was a growth market but also realised that it was a market that had different challenges and buying behaviour to other print verticals. We looked at many of the leading labels MIS out there but instantly knew that there was a standout partner that we wanted to work with, for many reasons, and that was CERM.”
Infigo was then invited to CERM’s annual customer event, where Alex was able to hear precisely what label converters wanted from an e-commerce solution for their industry.

Alex continued: “They invited us in with open arms – were transparent about the direction of the business and how they worked – and there was instant synergy. We were invited into their inner circle to speak at their customer event – where we floated the idea of the end-to-end integrated solution – and obtained invaluable feedback.
“We spoke with their customers, which include some of the biggest names in the labelling sector, and managed to find a strong group for our BETA program.
“In short, we worked closely with the experts in that field to solutionise a labels offering that is not just fit for purpose but best in class.”

Solution built specifically for labels sector
The global launch of the Connect: CERM module follows a string of successful launch and workflow demonstrations, at a number of events, including Packaging Innovations & Empack, Drupa, Labelexpo Europe and PRINTING United Alliance’s Digital Packaging Summit, as well as CERMs own User Group events, held in both the USA and EU.
During the demonstration back in 2023, at Labelexpo Europe in Brussels, attendees saw how a personalised beer label could be designed, ordered and paid for on an Infigo storefront before it was pre-flighted and proofed, placed into the workflow, printed and cut, minimal human interaction.
As well as receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback from those who have used the integration, we were also proud to be awarded the Digital Packaging Summit Award for Best Showcase Presentation in Florida last November.
Alex said that Infigo would continue to listen to its partners and users to ensure that the platform remained best in class.
He said: “This isn’t our work. We’ve developed it but it’s not all on us. It’s our partners CERM, it’s their customers, it’s our customers, and that’s how we’ve managed to get to where we are today.”
