What’s your biggest achievement in the last 2 years?

Probably the progress I’ve made in my Karate training. Since starting around 2.5 years ago I’ve focused a lot of effort in improving. Ask me again in a year or so and hopefully I’ll be telling you it’s getting my black belt.

What are your hobbies?

I took up the Shotokan style of Karate during the Covid lockdowns and haven’t looked back, training as many days during the week as I can manage. There’s a dojo right around the corner from me run by a former world champ. He definitely puts us through our paces!

Travel, adventure and the outdoors are another passion of mine. Whether it be for work or personal, I love travelling to new places and experiencing everything it has to offer. Sights, culture, people, food, unique experiences. Seeking these out has become somewhat of a hobby in itself…

The pandemic caused a seismic shift in our ability to travel, so before long Kate and I purchased an old van and set about transforming it into a camper we could use to explore a little closer to home. This also set me loose on another great love of mine, (very) amateur DIY.

What can’t you live without?

I’d love to write something deep and meaningful here, but the answer is coffee.

Tell us a bit about yourself, in your own words?

My name is Sam and I’m one of the newest additions to the Infigo team, taking charge of our educational offerings in the role of the Infigo Academy Manager. My days are split between training our wonderful customers, further improving my knowledge of all things Infigo and creating a vast array of educational resources to make your experience with our software as smooth, sleek and easy as possible.

I consider myself a versatile individual, happy to have a go at anything and eager to learn new things. This serves me well in the field of software training and education, where the learning never really stops!

So, if you or your team need some training on Infigo you now know exactly who to call. I’m very much looking forward to meeting more of our new and existing customers alike, and my goal is to make your training experience as informative, fun and engaging as I possibly can.

Feel free to ask me questions, cringe at my bad jokes and let’s get to know each other and our businesses a little better. We’re here to learn, but who says we can’t have a little fun with it along the way, right?

Tell us a fun fact not many people know about you

I trained and worked for quite a few years as a mechanical engineer before moving into software training and the print industry. I spent my days working on the design and analysis side of gearboxes. A few bits and pieces of my work may very well be present in your car, today!

Why would you recommend Infigo to potential customers?

Infigo is so ludicrously versatile and is very easy to use for something that is, by nature, so complex.

Some of the developments we have in the pipeline for the coming months are game changers. Seeing an attractive storefront spun up with products added and ready to order in a matter of minutes is truly an impressive sight. It’s testament to the vision and capabilities of the team we have here at Infigo, and I can’t wait to see what they come out with next.

What is your dream holiday location?

I’ve been fortunate enough to check off a lot of the places on my bucket list. Of those left on there, I’d love to head off and explore Costa Rica. It seems like the ultimate place for lovers of all things nature!

We hope you enjoyed our meet the team feature. Stay tuned for future additions, when we will be shining the spotlight on another member of the Infigo team.
